June Newsletter
A Sweet Return!!
Greetings! To all who read our report and continue to pray with us and support our work financially; REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, AGAIN I SAY REJOICE! May the HOLY SPIRIT lift your spirit as you read the happenings of ETeamGlobal over the last two months!
Tim makes a friend in N. Macedonia!
As March started this year, it had been more than a year since ETeamGlobal completed an international mission. Since then, ETG has completed two international missions. Unfortunately, a third to Rwanda and Uganda that was to begin in July, was just canceled because of a COVID surge in Uganda that’s forced another shutdown. Please pray for that nation, our partners there and the brothers and sisters they minister to!
We do, however, have three missions (Kenya, Nigeria, and N. Macedonia) planned before the year ends. Praise God!! What joy there is being back in the field again preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ!!!
In this newsletter we recap our recent missions, preview upcoming missions and projects as well as a major evangelistic event in August!
Tim Robnett, President, ETeamGlobal
An Amazing Harvest
In May, Tim Robnett completed his first international mission since COVID shut the world down more than a year ago, traveling to North Macedonia. Thank you for your prayers, and to all those who supported this mission financially.
Tim and Pastor Chin teach at a meal event
A big ‘shout out’ too, to Pastor Bob Chin for joining Tim on this mission! His preaching and teaching brought a great blessing to those they served.
Tim and Bob joined Jimmy Simmons and his team for a powerful nine days of ministry! In that time, the Christ Love Ministry (CLM) team did an incredible job of organizing 10 outreach meals. Of almost 400 attendees, 249 people responded to the invitation to begin a
relationship with our LORD and Savior! That’s more than 60 percent of those who attended, a testament to this team put in beforehand! On top of that, the team also participated in two days of evangelism training led by Tim and Bob.
ETG looks forward to continuing to serve with CLM and returning to N. Macedonia this fall for more training and outreach. Meanwhile, please pray for the CLM team as they meet each day with these new believers to disciple them in their faith, while also leading the 30 churches CLM has planted throughout N. Macedonia. This highly dedicated ministry is committed to reaching the lost and helping them grow in Christ!
A Historic Time
Ethiopia proved to be an incredibly fulfilling and historic mission for ETG. It was our first international mission since COVID shut down travel in March last year. It was our first mission ever to Ethiopia! And at one point, ETG’s Mike Parker preached to around 10,000 people, the largest attended single event ETG has participated in!!
More importantly, the True Gospel was proclaimed.
ETG was invited by Firm Foundations in Christ Ministries to participate in a three-day festival in Sawla. FFICM founder, Richard Gardner, has been a friend to our ministry since the beginning and we were honored to receive his invitation! The festival was designed to counter a strong following of prosperity and false gospels in the country.
Kate Thomas joined Mike for this mission, where both worked with the FFICM team to preach the true Gospel and train local church leaders. Mike was one of several speakers who preached during three days of events that attracted more than 20,000 people, while Kate led a women’s seminar themed His Cross, Our Cross, Enemies of the Cross! Local church leaders declared it was a message that needed to be heard.

Pray for those who attended and recommitted their lives to Christ. Pray too as ETG continues conversations with national church leaders about establishing Evangelist Forums in Ethiopia, which would be a new mission field for the ministry.
New Classes, New Students, Ongoing Needs!
A critical element of ETeamGlobal’s mission to Identify, Affirm, Train and Mobilize evangelists is the advanced academic degree program at Multnomah University. Since launching, eight students have graduated—six with a Doctoral degree and two with Master’s degrees. We want to thank everyone who has helped support the scholarship program that paid for their tuition and fees. These students are now serving in Poland, USA, Kenya, and Uganda!
As we begin our eighth year, six new students will enter the Doctoral or Master’s program in Global Evangelism this month. These students come from Ethiopia, Nigeria, and India, joining continuing students from Canada, Uganda, and Kenya. Classes will focus on fully training these evangelists in the biblical theology of evangelism, while developing practical skills in leadership and communication so they can fulfill the Ephesians 4 mandate to equip the church for the work of evangelism. The list of countries represented by these students demonstrates the power of this ministry and the critical need it fills. Your help is urgently needed! ETeamGlobal will need to raise $65,000-$80,000 for the tuition and fees!
Please join in giving, as you can, to this very important investment in developing evangelist leaders for churches globally. If you would like to get to know them personally and sponsor a student through their studies, let us know so we might make your financial support more relational and meaningful to you and those you are helping. Just fill out the enclosed card and return to us.
It’s almost here!
Mark Saturday, August 7, 2021, on your calendar for the somethingmore Family Festival in Eatonville, Washington. Please join us in witnessing to and serving the least churched county in America. ETG has worked alongside seven Eatonville churches for 18 months preparing this event. Led by Tim Robnett and Chris Kingston, the team has been meeting with local pastors every week to plan and pray.
God has brought great unity to these churches to reach their community for Jesus!
And now, with two months left, preparations are picking up pace! In May, local congregations completed ETG’s Four Stories training series on sharing your faith. Volunteer counselors will begin their ETG training on June 6th, with a final session set for July 25th. You are invited to a concert of prayer on June 27th. Join us in person or via Zoom. You’ll find details at www.somethingmorefest.com.
The somethingmore Family Festival is for all ages. It will proclaim the gospel message of Hope while featuring a kids’ zone filled with fun activities. The day will feature speakers including several members of ETG as well as music from national Christian artists, Jordan Feliz, and White Ribbon Day.
If you’d like to volunteer or be a prayer counselor, please contact Chris Kingston at 503.593.4406 or chrisk@eteamglobal.org. For more info about the event, go to www.somethingmorefest.com!
Social Media Ministry Update
ETG stepped up its social media ministry when COVID shut down travel last year and we’ve shared with you our efforts to expand this ministry with a commitment to developing fresh, relevant content. As part of this commitment, we want to introduce to you our newest team member, Peyton Giannone. Peyton is a social media expert who will work with us to refine and advance our online presence.
Our social platforms will give our partners the opportunity to see what we’re doing on a day-to-day basis while also allowing us to serve and pray for others around the world. These social media platforms will also make our resources more accessible for training leaders to walk out their faith and share the message of Jesus with their communities and the world.
Our Facebook Facelift!
As we grow this ministry, our hope is that our online presence will help us connect with new ministries, opening doors to more mission and training opportunities in the future. In addition, ETG’s social media ministry is helping train and equip the saints though the ‘Sharpening the Axe’ series. These short videos are meeting the younger generation right where they are at, on Instagram and Facebook.
If you believe in our mission to reach and equip the younger generation to share the gospel, please follow us! Our Facebook link is www.facebook.com/WeAreETeamGlobal and our Instagram account is www.instagram.com/eteamglobal.
