Our Founder
Dr. Timothy Robnett
Tim founded ETeamGlobal in 2011 with the mission to Identify, Affirm, Train and Mobilize Ephesians 4 evangelists to equip and lead the church in evangelism. The launch of ETeamGlobal was culmination of more than 40 years of faithfully following the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Tim was born in Coalinga, California in 1950. At the age of seven, Tim accepted Christ into his life. At the age of 20 he responded to the Holy Spirit’s call to serve and began ministering to youth. For the next 56 years, he continued to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading, proclaiming the gospel in 45 countries and five continents. Whether in front of thousands or dozens, Tim loved to teach and share the Good News with all who would listen.
After graduating from Stanford in 1972, his career in ministry began as an intern for a local church in Palo Alto, Calif. In 1974, Tim enrolled at Western Seminary in Portland, Ore. and graduated three years later with a Master of Divinity. During that time, Tim continued serving the Lord, working with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
After graduating, Tim returned to California to be the Youth & Family Pastor at West Park Baptist Church in Bakersfield. In 1979, Tim and Sharon moved to Palm Springs where Tim was hired to be the pastor of the Palm Springs Baptist Church. Nine years later Tim led the local pastors committee for the Luis Palau Crusade being held in Palm Springs.
For Tim, proclaiming the gospel to as many people as possible was always the mission and for the first 20 years of his ministry, he did that as a pastor. In 1990, Tim answered the call to not only be an evangelist but to train other evangelists as well. He was named the International Crusade Director for the Luis Palau Evangelical Association based in Beaverton, Ore.
Tim and Sharon moved back to Oregon and for the next ten years, Tim led international crusade planning at LPEA, earned his Doctor of Ministry degree, and began teaching evangelism at Multnomah Seminary. Then, in 2000, Tim took on a new role at LPEA, becoming the director of Next Generation Alliance, a ministry at LPEA that developed and supported young evangelists around the world.
Eleven years later, in 2011, Tim sensed God’s calling for him to launch a new ministry, his own ministry—ETeamGlobal.
Since 2011, ETeamGlobal and its partners have preached the gospel to more than 460,000 people. More than 50,000 people have responded to the Gospel invitation. ETeamGlobal has trained over 37,000 evangelists, pastors, church leaders, and Christian disciples in evangelism worldwide. Today, their collective ministries are impacting hundreds of thousands of lives each year!
Tim and Sharon were high school sweethearts and were married in 1971. While at Stanford, Tim played defensive back for the football team, playing in 1971 and 1972 Rose Bowls. Tim and Sharon have two children, Joel (Kate) and Karen (Mike), and five grandchildren, Isaac, Clark and Lucas (Joel & Kate) and Corban and Levi (Karen & Mike).
Tim is the co-author of two books, Telling Your Story with Luis Palau and the Spirit Driven Church with Allen Quist. He has taught evangelism at Multnomah Seminary (now Jessup University), All Nations University and Lucent University.
Tim went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2026. While he now celebrates being with our Father, we celebrate the vision and mission our Lord laid upon Tim in 2011, proclaiming the gospel and training evangelists and local churches to do the same!
The mission of ETeamGlobal continues.
