NO Message Like the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Risen! Risen from the dead! This announcement changed everything! From death to life, from despair to hope, out of the darkness of a tomb to the sunshine of a new day, all was marvelously changed.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” Paul teaches the church that this resurrection life results in the transformation not only of our spirit but also of our bodies. “The body that is sown perishable, it is raised imperishable…it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.” (I Cor. 15:42-22)

The hope of the resurrection of the body for all eternity. This is the apex of our salvation—whole; body, soul, and spirit we will lack nothing, complete, and perfect! What God begins by faith in His Son He will finish (Rom. 8:29,30).

This message flows from the work of Christ on a cross to make atonement for our sins and the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Celebrate with us, as together we strive to take this message to the places God has opened to us.

Thank you for partnering with ETeamGlobal to IDENTIFY, AFFIRM, TRAIN AND MOBILIZE evangelists around the world.

New European Evangelist Coalition First Encounter a Positive Start!

Tim Robnett and Chris Kingston traveled to Budapest, Hungary in March (Mar. 9-14) to meet with regional evangelical leaders. The result of that meeting was historic all involved committed to launching the new European Evangelist Coalition (EEC)!

This coalition will use a training model based on ETeamGlobal’s Evangelist Forum program to Identify, Affirm, Train, and Mobilize young evangelists across Europe!

These leaders (Pavle Cekov/Slovakia, Pedro Espada/Spain, Peter Szabo/N. Macedonia, Roman Baranowski/Poland, Slave Velesanov/Croatia) are longtime ETG ministry partners and are wonderful, Godly men who are ‘souled’ out for God and His Kingdom. These meetings were incredibly fruitful as the group prayed and sought God’s wisdom and guidance for the coalition, what future training and outreach events might look like, and the timing of these efforts.

From L to R: Slave, Roman, Pedro, Peter, Tim, Chris and Pavle

Your prayers are needed as this group begins building the infrastructure of an organization that seeks to grow God’s church on the European continent! Specifically, please pray for:

  • Safety & Health.

  • Vision and guidance as they develop training formats and processes that will instruct new evangelists and be flexible enough to adapt to the different countries and cultures the EEC and ETG will be ministering in over the coming years.

  • The future partnerships formed with local churches across Europe!

  • The leaders themselves as they seek out and identify young evangelists in their regions!

  • Unity of spirit and vision!

Up next—Chris will return to Europe on June 13 – 20th for ministry outreach and training opportunities in Slovakia, with Pavle and his ministry there. Please pray for this mission too; the logistics and the first steps of this exciting new partnership between the EEC and ETG!

 New Opportunities in Ethiopia Too!

While Tim and Chris were in Hungary, Mike and team traveled through three continents, four countries, ten airports, 11 time zones and endured nine COVID tests in just five weeks! Joining Mike on this adventure were ministry partners Marc & Carol Andresen as well as Canada-based evangelist Filipe Drumond, an ETG-sponsored student at Multnomah University. It was an amazing journey that was filled with the Lord despite a COVID quarantine!

Nigeria

The team started in Nigeria to launch the Sixth Nigeria Forum for Evangelists, with 32 new students beginning their two-year commitment to ETG’s evangelist training program! The Sixth Forum was committed to bringing in younger evangelists and it succeeded—19 of the students are under the age of 45. What’s especially meaningful was that this year, three of the students are ‘legacies’, students whose parents also went through the Forum program! It was a heartwarming start to the Forum! Mike and team also met with New Life for All leaders to continue planning for a joint, major evangelistic outreach event in that country next year. We look forward to sharing details with you soon and hope you can join us!

Ethiopia

From Nigeria, it was on to Ethiopia for an exciting ministry first. ETG signed an agreement with Kale Heywet, Ethiopia’s largest evangelical denomination, to bring the ETG Forum training program to that country for the very first time! Mike, Marc, and Filipe were all blessed and honored to be invited to preach in several Kale Heywet churches. One of the special rewards of being an

evangelist is the opportunity to preach the Gospel in new countries!! The first Forum for Ethiopia Evangelists sessions begin on May 9th. So, though he just got back, Mike leaves again very soon! Please pray!

N. Macedonia

While Filipe returned home to Canada, Mike and the Andresen’s flew on to N. Macedonia to lead training sessions for the staff of ministry partner, Christ Love Ministry. The team, including the American band, White Ribbon Day, also participated in various outreach events at six rural villages. Over the course of several days, ministry efforts reached 459 people with 130 praying to receive Christ-- including several from predominantly Muslim villages!

Then things got interesting! Just before the team could fly home, the Andresen’s tested positive for COVID. Praise God, it was a mild case, but all three were still forced to stay in N. Macedonia an extra nine days until they all tested negative. The team thanks you for your prayers while they were in isolation, and they are grateful that even while in quarantine, they were able to spend time with each other in the Lord and build relationships with the hotel staff. They look forward to returning soon to grow these relationships even further!

An Easter Tradition Continues

ETeamGlobal was again privileged to participate in an 85-year-old Easter tradition in Hillsboro, Ore. Chris Kingston gave the message for the 85th Sunrise service in Hillsboro, this year at Laurel Community Church. Returning this year too was the sunrise Easter bonfire! It was a bright, chilly, wonderful time celebrating the resurrection of our Savior!

Training Future Evangelists Starts with a Free Lunch!!

You are invited to join ETeamGlobal for a catered, fundraiser lunch at Multnomah University (Portland, OR) on Saturday, May 21st. The lunch goes from 11:00 to 1:00, with all proceeds supporting ETG’s Excellence in Training program. This program covers tuition for ETG-sponsored international students enrolled in Multnomah University’s advanced degree program in evangelism. It will also fund innovative training opportunities planned for these students in the coming academic year.

This re-visioning of ETG’s support of international evangelists was unveiled last year at our anniversary dinner. In two months, you helped us raise more than $100,000! Your support paid for these students’ tuition through May 2022 while also funding an incredible training mission to Kenya. While there, our Multnomah students taught college level evangelism courses for aspiring evangelists. They also led and participated in powerful street ministry outreach events around Nairobi.

This year we are seeking to raise $65,000. These funds will again cover student’s tuition through May 2023 and pay for a unique study opportunity this Fall. Student’s will gather together in North Carolina for a week of intensive study and research on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s campus and in the BGEA’s new research library!

Join us for this luncheon! You’ll get great food, learn more about this critical pillar of ETG’s ministry, and hear from some of the students themselves about how your support via ETG is changing lives and saving souls. For more information or to RSVP, email frank@eteamglobal.org.

You Are a Blessing!

When Russia invaded Ukraine, we let you, our partners in ministry, know that we were seeking funds to provide to ministries in Europe that were aiding Ukrainian refugees. We asked for your help in raising $5,000. You helped raise almost $10,000!!

Last month, when Tim and Chris met with ministry partners in Hungary to plan the launch of the new European Evangelist Coalition, they delivered $9500 in cash to help these ministries in their relief efforts for refugees who have flooded into their respective countries.

Your generosity fed, clothed, and provided shelter to thousands of refugees in Poland, Slovakia, Spain and along the Ukrainian border!

Thank you for your prayers, your faith, and your sacrifice!
