Dave Redelfs was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, living most of his youth in Beaver, PA. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in electrical engineering, he moved to Troy, Michigan where he worked for Westinghouse Electric. Dave returned to Pennsylvania to earn an MBA in finance and marketing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Following graduation, he travelled cross country to Portland, Oregon to work for Intel. He spent eighteen years there in various marketing and strategic planning capacities.
It was following Intel that the Lord led Dave to non-profit ministry work. Working at the Luis Palau Association, Dave was business manager for their action sports ministry, Livin It, which used skateboarders, BMX bikers, and free-style motocross to reach youth for Christ. It was there that Dave met Tim Robnett, working with Tim and the Next Generation Alliance on missions to Uganda and India among others.
Dave then accepted a position as Director of Operations for Open Arms International, an organization that rescues orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in Kenya. There Dave was responsible for finance, facilities, IT and HR. He retired from Open Arms in 2017.
Having helped organize many outreach events both in the US and around the world, Dave is passionate about evangelism, bringing his years of management, financial, and non-profit expertise to the staff and board of ETeamGlobal.
Dave and his wife Susan have three grown children and make their home in Cedar Mill, Oregon.
