Dennis Hurt

Dennis is a serial entrepreneur who has a long history of developing early stage companies.

Dennis was born in Dayton, Ohio, and attended Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), where he received a BA degree in Botany. After graduation he was a quality control chemist for two years then relocated to Boulder, Colorado, where he became a Christian and met his wife Susan. For the next 9 years he worked   at 3 different companies in sales and marketing. The last of these three companies was Nellcor Inc. where he served in several positions before relocating to The Netherland for four years.

Upon his return to the US, Dennis worked for Protocol Systems in Beaverton, Oregon before moving on to be Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Serveron Corp. Dennis was then President and CEO of LightRush, Inc. before taking on his current role as President and CEO of Asta Ltd., a start-up food biotechnology company.

The catalyst for his involvement in the Tim Robnett Ministries/ETeamGlobal was a mission trip to Warsaw and Łódź, Poland in 2005. During the mission, Dennis recognized the enormous value of the ministry’s focus on the growth of evangelism and the importance of the development and support of the evangelists around the world.

Dennis was a group leader at Bible Study Fellowship for 6 years and is currently the Board Chair and Vice President of ETeamGlobal, a unique non-profit that Identifies, Affirms, Trains, and Mobilizes evangelists globally. Dennis’ current goal for ETG is to help make it a long-term, sustainable global organization that continues to foster evangelism in order to grow and serve the Kingdom of God.

Dennis has been married to Susan for 40 years. They currently live in Woodland, WA. They have two daughters, Blair and Heather. Blair is a graduate (Education) of George Fox University, Newberg, OR, works at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, OR; and Heather, a graduate (BSN) of Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, CA, is a resource nurse at OHSU and PACU Nurse in Tacoma, WA where she resides with her husband.
