This Easter, ETeamGlobal in partnership with Laurel Community Church and Scholls Community Church will broadcast a virtual Easter Sunrise Service from Bald Peak Park near Hillsboro, Oregon. This Easter Sunrise Service has been a tradition in this area west of Portland for 83 years. Laurel Community Church and Scholls Community Church were two of several churches that first began offering this cross-denominational service in 1937. The views from Bald Peak are spectacular and have been inspiring Easter worshippers in Yamhill and Washington counties for three generations.
When the Oregon governor ordered all parks closed because of the COVID-19 crisis, it was feared this tradition wouldn’t happen this year. But ETeamGlobal, Laurel Community Church and Scholls Community Church started discussing options. When the Lord provided private property on Bald Peak to be available, the answer was clear, a virtual Easter Sunrise Service providing a message of Hope in a time where hope seems lacking! The service will feature an Easter message from ETG evangelist Austin Hall and Easter worship music from Portland radio personality Georgene Rice, her husband Dan and her sister, Dawna Stutzman.
Sor for the 83rd year, an Easter Sunrise Service will be offered from Bald Peak! You can watch this service starting at 7:00 a.m. Easter Sunday. Just click on this link, bit.ly/hopearise2020.
